Apple is expected to launch three new iPhone variants this year

Apple’s most awaited September 2018 launch event called Gather Round is finally here. For those who won’t get the opportunity to attend the event in the Steve Jobs Theater at the company’s Apple Park campus in Cupertino, here’s how you can watch the Apple September 2018 event live stream.

To watch the event live, one can straightaway head to Apple’s official website and stream the video on their iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks at 1 p.m. ET. But, before that, you need to make sure that your device has the required software. In order to be eligible for live streaming the event, MacBook should macOS Sierra 10.12 or newer, while other iOS devices should need to be running iOS 10 or newer.

For Windows 10 PC users, they can also watch the live stream via the Edge browser, and for others, there is Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Apple TV users can watch the event using the ‘Apple Events App’. On opening the app, users will get the option to live stream Apple’s September event. To live stream the event, users will have to have a 2nd or 3rd-generation Apple TV with software 6.2 or later, or a 4th-generation or later model of Apple TV. What’s special this time is that Apple will be live streaming its Keynote event on Twitter via its handle.

What to expect?

The Cupertino tech giant is expected to launch three new iPhone variants- iPhone XC, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max- at the upcoming launch event. Some of the other devices that are expected to get showcased include a MacBook Air successor, two new iPad Pro models with thin bezels, no home button, and Face ID authentication, new Apple Watch models with edge-to-edge displays, AirPower charging pad and updated AirPod headphones.
