Google Pixel 3 XL to launch running Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box
When talking about premium Android smartphones, Google’s Pixel phones undoubtedly make it to the top of the list. While the search giant isn’t expected to officially unveil the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL handset until this fall, there are already a lot of rumors teasing the handsets’ specs, design, price and release details.
The latest Google Pixel 3 XL unboxing video and pictures shared by a Ukrainian tech blogger on his Telegram channel show the front and rear of the device along with a wired version of Google’s Pixel Buds which is expected to come packaged with the upcoming Pixel phone.
As per the leaked pictures, the Google Pixel 3 XL specs list includes an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, with four cores clocked at 1.77 GHz and four clocked at 2.80 GHz, an Adreno 630 GPU and Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box. The smartphone will reportedly come with 4 GB of RAM. The leak also suggests that the Pixel 3 XL’s display will sport a resolution of 1440 x 2960 with 494 pixels per inch. The handset will likely follow the on-going trend and come with a notched display.
As far as the camera is concerned, Google Pixel 3 XL is rumored to come with a single camera on the back with Dual Pixel PDAF and 4K video recording support. On the front, the smartphone will have dual cameras to offer a more secure Face Unlock solution.
The Google Pixel 3 XL smartphone was also recently spotted listed on Chinese Master Lu benchmark database. As per the listing, the handset has managed to score an impressive 212,778 points. In the CPU test, the handset scored 54,672 points, while in the GPU test, where the Pixel 3 XL prototype achieve 1,06,711 points.
Talking about the release date, there are reports which claim that Google is eyeing an October 4 launch date for its next-generation Pixel devices.
