LG V40 Specs List Leaked Online, Confirms Five Cameras On Board
LG V40 is expected to be made official at a dedicated event in October
LG was expected to announce the highly awaited LG V40 at the recently held IFA 2018 event in Berlin. But, unfortunately, the same did not happen. Now, an exclusive report coming from Android Pit has revealed all the rumored LG V40 ThinQ specs and features.
If the leaked specifications sheet is to be believed the upcoming LG V40, codenamed LG Storm Plus, will come with a 6.4-inch QHD+ pOLED notched FullVision display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset consisting of four 2.8GHz and four 1.7GHz cores and an Adreno 630 GPU.
Packed with 6GB of RAM, the handset will be made available in two storage configurations; a 64GB and a 128GB. Keeping the lights on will be a 3300mAh capacity battery, same as the V30. The LG V40 will measure 158.7 x 75.8 x 7.79mm and weigh in at 169 grams. The handset is rumored to feature either Android Oreo or Android Pie out of the box.
Among other specs, the LG V40 will allegedly have a multi-camera system on both the sides. The handset will come with a triple camera setup at the back with a 12MP lens with focal length of f/1.5, a 16MP sensor with a focal length of f/1.9 and a 12MP with a focal length of f/2.4. There will be an 8MP and a 5MP sensor in the front along with the Smart CAM feature.
The audio will be powered by a Quad DAC chip. With Stereo Boombox on board, the V40 will become the first LG flagship to feature stereo speaker. The handset will likely retain the 3.5mm headphone jack. It will also be IP68 certified against dust and water and offer a fingerprint sensor as well as face detection.
As for the release date, LG V40 is rumored to be made official at a dedicated event in early October.
