OnePlus 6T Specs List, Design & Price Details Known So Far

After the launch of Apple’s latest iPhones and Google’s Pixel range of smartphones, all eyes are now on the OnePlus 6T smartphone, which is officially set to launch on October 30 in an event in New York. Well, a lot of rumors surrounding OnePlus 6T specs, features and price have already hit the web giving us some idea about what to expect from the upcoming phone.

In terms of display, the OnePlus 6T is expected to feature an all-new 6.4-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and a layer of Gorilla Glass on top. The handset will likely sport an all-new notch styled in a water-drop font.

The upcoming OnePlus smartphone is reported to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone maker has already confirmed that they have decided to remove the 3.5mm headphone jack from the phone to make room for the in-display fingerprint sensing new technology. However, we can expect a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter to be rolled out as part of the bundle.

Among other specs, the OnePlus 6T will likely Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 845 powering the device clocked at up to 2.8 GHz with an Adreno 630 GPU and run the latest Android Pie straight out of the box. The handset is expected to get a 3,700mAh battery with a few extra hours of talk time, backed by Dash Charge technology.

As per reports, the next-gen OnePlus smartphone will likely arrive in three storage variants- 6 GB RAM with 64 GB storage, 8 GB  RAM with 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM with 256 GB storage. In terms of camera, the OnePlus 6T is rumored to come with a dual setup at the back with a 16 MP sensor and a 20 MP sensor along with a 16 MP sensor on the front.

As far as price is concerned, the OnePlus 6T is expected to be a lot cheaper as compared to other latest smartphones available in the market, at around $550.
