Razer Phone 2 Specs Spotted Listed On Geekbench & AnTuTu Benchmark

Razer Phone 2 to come with Snapdragon 845 SoC and 8 GB RAM

Razer is expected to launch it next-generation gaming smartphone, the Razer Phone 2, later this year in December. The handset was recently spotted on Geekbench as well on AnTuTu Benchmark revealing almost all the handset’s key specs and features.

As per the Geekbench listing, the Razer Phone 2 will come with Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8 GB RAM and Android 8.1 Oreo. The handset made a score of 2026 and 8234 points in Geekbench’s single and multi-core tests respectively. While the Geekbench listing didn’t reveal anything more about the Razer Phone 2, the AnTuTu listing offered some more details about the Razer Phone successor.

The handset’s AnTuTu score was 283397, which puts it right near the top of AnTuTu’s leaderboard, right behind the Galaxy Note 9.

Razer Phone 2 was spotted listed with Snapdragon 845 SoC with Adreno 630 graphics coupled with 8 GB RAM. The information contradicts previous reports that claimed that the device might come with the upcoming 855 SoC on board. The listing also revealed that the smartphone will come with a whopping 512 GB of internal storage.

The Razer Phone 2 will feature a screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. However, the exact size of the screen isn’t known yet. A resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels means the display has aspect ratio of 16:9, which further means that the smartphone will probably come with larger bezels as the display isn’t tall.

The Razer Phone 2 also has IGZO LCD display with a screen refresh rate of as high as 120 Hz, which will ensure that the player can make the touch screen operation smoother during the mobile game. The handset will also support Qualcomm Q-Synce display technology.

The smartphone is expected to boot the Android Oreo OS out of the box, similar to the first Razer Phone, but would likely switch to the newer Android Pie in the months following the announcement.

More information about Razer Phone 2 specs, features, price and release date are expected to get announced soon.
