Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Leaked Render Hints At Impressive Specs & Features

The highly anticipated Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is already creating a lot of buzz ahead of its purported September 15 release date. A lot of rumors surrounding Xiaomi Mi Mix 3’s specs, features and price have surfaced online in the last few months.

The latest of the lot is a newly leaked render by popular leakster Ben Geskin that shows both the front and rear panel of the Mi Mix 3. The concept image shows the upcoming smartphone sporting bezel-less display, thin edges, a tiny chin, no notch, no front camera sensor and a glass panel on the rear side. According to previous rumors, the front camera will likely be hidden inside the body with a mechanism that will only open when the user accesses the camera app.

The render shows a dual rear camera setup on the back panel. The two cameras can be seen placed in the middle of the top edge of the Mi Mix 3 aligned in the vertical fashion along with the LED flash. On the left side, there’s the volume rocker to increase and decrease the volume and the power button. Interestingly, there’s no fingerprint sensor shown, neither on the rear side nor on the front panel. So, there are pretty good chances that the Mi Mix 3 will likely come with in-display fingerprint sensor like the Mi 8.

Among other specs, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is rumored to get a Samsung QHD+ AMOLED display equipped with a new kind of COP (Chip on Plastic) packaging technology, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with the Adreno 630 GPU and Android 8.1 Oreo OS with the company’s proprietary MIUI 10 skin on top. The handset is expected to get rolled out in 6GB/8GB RAM options and with up to 256GB of storage. The device is also rumored to be IP68-certified for water and dust resistance.
