Honor 8X Max Specs Found Listed On Chinese Online Retailer Website

Honor to launch Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max smartphones in China on September 5

Huawei’s subsidiary brand Honor is all geared up for the launch of Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max smartphones to be held at an event in China on September 5. Prior to the release, Honor 8X Max was spotted listed on Chinese online retailer website, JD.com, with all its specs, features and pricing information detailed.

As mentioned on the e-retailer’s website, the Honor 8X Max specs list includes a huge 7.12-inch Full HD+ 2244×1080 pixels display with a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent, a water-drop notch on top of the front for the selfie camera and a small chin at the bottom, engraving the Honor brand.

The listing suggests that handset will come with dual cameras stacked vertically and a circular shaped fingerprint sensor at the center. Honor 8X Max will likely support quick charging that will allow 40 minutes of talk time within 10 minutes charge.

The Honor 8X Max will be made available in two variants including 4GB RAM with 64GB and 6GB RAM with 256GB internal storage. The phone will be powered by an octa-core Kirin 970 chipset and will run Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2, out of the box. The handset will come in blue, black and red color options.

The phone will measure177.6 x 86.3 x 8.1 mm in terms of dimensions and will weigh around 210 grams. Other connectivity features include Dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, micro USB 2.0 port, and 3.5mm audio jack. The 8X Max variant with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage is listed with a dummy price tag of CNY 9,998.

Talking about the Honor 8X, the smartphone was spotted listed on TENAA with features including a 7.12-inch full-HD+ TFT display, a 4GB of RAM, 64GB of inbuilt storage, a dual rear camera of 16MP+2MP and an 8MP front camera. The 8X is expected to run on the latest Kirin 710 chipset or the Snapdragon 636/660 So and Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
